Team
Meet Our Team
The New Testament teaches us that Jesus Christ is the head and Lord over his church. Under Jesus' leadership, the role of elders within the local church has been established.
The elders are given the responsibility of the spiritual care and oversight of the local church. They have the responsibility of knowing, leading, feeding, and protecting the church family.
The New Testament church describes multiple male elders with no one elder having more or less authority than another.

God's Story
What We Believe

GOD'S STORY
God has shared His story with us so that we can know him.
God put His story into words and wrote it in a book called “the Bible.” The Bible isn’t primarily about you and me, and what we should be doing. It’s about God, who He is, and what He is has done, is doing, and will do.
It’s a real-life story! It’s a true story. There are lots of stories in the Bible, but all the stories are telling one Big Story. The Story of how God loves who He created, and comes to rescue them. It takes the whole Bible to tell this Story.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our heritage is the Open Brethren movement of Churches, now known as Christian Community Churches of New Zealand (CCCNZ).
What we believe is shaped by our orthodox, protestant, and evangelical roots.
We are a local and independent church, planted in the 1960's in the then, newly formed Awapuni suburb of Palmerston North. A local church in a local community.
What we believe is grounded in the truth revealed in the Bible.
