DISCIPLESHIP
Discipleship is the process of coming to belief in Jesus Christ and actively being engaged in the process of being led and transformed into the likeness of Christ, growing into maturity of faith and being equipped to serve.
The elders of Kingston Street Community Church have a very clear biblical vision of what God desires for His body, the church.
“…and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:13
The key tool is intentional discipleship. The intentional transformation of a person into the character of Christ.
WHAT IS A DISCIPLE?
Simply put, a disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ. S/he is growing in love for, and trust in, Christ. A disciple is someone who is personally and whole life committed to the leading of Jesus Christ.

We desire all of our church family to be active disciples of Jesus Christ, as well as influencing others in their journey of discipleship.

At Kingston Community Church, we have sought to provide a flexible structure to help us best meet people's needs in their discipleship journey.
STAGE 1 - EVANGELISM

Ministries, resources and opportunities to find what God created you for. Revealing Christ so that people can come to him.
STAGE 2 - GROWING DISCIPLE
Imparting the Basics
Ministries, resources and opportunities to support new believers, as they are grounded in the basics of the Christian faith.
STAGE 3 - MINISTERING DISCIPLE
Equipping for Body Life and Ministry
Ministries, resources and opportunities to establish people more fully in their Christian faith and prepare them to serve Christ well in the Church and in the World.
STAGE 4 - DISCIPLE MAKER
Equipping Others for Service
Ministries, resources and opportunities to train, unify and support emerging and existing leaders.

Equipping for Service
A range of different opportunities to get targeted equipping for maturing in service.
